Stanford News Services

Project highlights

The Office of Development had asked for a website with a magazine like feel. The project called for creating a site that provides users multiple access paths to stories, videos, and slideshows. The site also features a secondary navigation utilizing a mootools javascript accordion to quickly move through the various topics, schools, and groups. Also developed a php module to enable search engine friendly URLs. Site currently gets over 5,000 hits per day.

The StoryBank prototype replaced the Stanford News Sevice site in 2010.
